Tool for Change

This project aimed to promote volunteering as a tool for change at local / community level.

The project focused on preparation and implementation of a number of activities, such as publicity and distribution of information, trainings and seminars; international volunteer project.

The target group of the project was young people, NGOs and public organisations working with youth and/or volunteers, local communities in four provinces where SVIT is active.

Activities:
-    seminar on volunteering and volunteer projects
-    training for young activists willing to organize international volunteer projects
-    international volunteer project
-    meetings of group of volunteers to coordinate project activities.

The project was realized in 2004-2005 with financial support of Jucker-Mauderly Fund of SCI-Switzerland.
