Why – Because there is lack of volunteer projects and initiatives. Because international volunteer projects provide opportunity not only to fulfill work, but also to have intercultural communication and exchange, draw public attention to certain problem, raise awareness of people and just be example how to be proactive and responsible citizen. Because volunteering is fun.

Who and for who – SVIT-Ukraine, jointly with Service Civil International (SCI) Germany and AVI Moldova, for NGOs interested to join and organize volunteer activities and young people willing to join volunteer projects
Creation of Coordination Centers on Volunteering
the main goal of the project is to create two new Coordination Centers for volunteer services in Moldova and Ukraine. The Coordination Centers will contribute to development of volunteer service projects through creation of new hosting projects for long-term volunteers, preparation of multipliers, providing access to volunteer projects for people from disadvantaged backgrounds, and innovative fundraising. The activities of the project include meetings and trainings on leadership, fundraising and project management topics, information events and activities, workshops on networking and volunteer projects for young people.
In the framework of this project SVIT-Ukraine provides possibilities for networking and cooperation to NGOs interested in volunteering and willing to organize volunteer projects, training and support in development and organization of projects with volunteers, informational resources and practical expertise.
To young people looking for possibilities for self-realization and contributing to community development, SVIT can offer to join a team of motivated activists with creative ideas, possibilities for informal learning, training and support in realization of own ideas and dreams into practice.
