Interregional voluntary organization "SVIT-Ukraine" was established in autumn 2000 as working group on volunteering, and officially registered in November 2005 as local non profit organization, which is created for promotion, support and development of volunteering in Ukraine. Since 2004, SVIT is official member group of Service Civil International (SCI)

Our Activities

Our main activity is organization of international volunteer projects (workcamps) on environmental, social, cultural topics, as well as work with disadvantaged children.
We also organize seminars, workshops and trainings to inform young people about volunteering and volunteer projects, empower young activists with leadership, project management, fundraising skills and other; involve new partners at local level and promote volunteering as a tool to solve local problems with efforts of community members.
Since winter 2006 SVIT-Ukraine is involved in multilateral project "Youth Transcending New Frontiers" (www.ytnf.org), in its framework group of local activists is organizing projects on human rights education, gender and antiracism.

How to join a workcamp?

Please contact us, if you are interested to participate to a camp in Ukraine or abroad. You may check the descriptions of projects at Public Search Engine of SCI http://camps.sciint.org to find projects interesting for you, or contact us and we will help you to find project. You can also download application form from our web-site and email it to us.
